| San Francisco Family Photography | Extended Family Session

I had the joy to document a San Francisco Family Photography Session to welcome the birth of a family’s first Daughter and Grandchild. Family Sessions are always fun but when you get to add in an Auntie and two sets of Grandparents then you really get some sweet captures.

 

 

The majority of this session was focused near their living room window that gave off the most beautiful light. While they sat on the window ledge, the sunshine enveloped them and  accentuated their absolute adoration for their daughter. The window also gave an amazing composition to their photos and allowed for framing within a frame. I’ll be honest, when I saw their living room I about jumped for joy.

 

Near the end, the Grandparents jumped into the frame for a complete snuggle sesh that I’m not sure will ever compare. The way they held their Grandchild and nuzzled her was so heartwarming. And there was no need for prompts or games to evoke the feelings of love and connection that they held for her.
