The Hubbard Family welcomed their newest little one to the their family right after moving to the Bay Area! I met them at their home for an in-home documentary lifestyle Newborn photography session in Oakland CA. It was a warm fall afternoon which we took advantage of at the end of the day. The Fall sunsets in the Bay Area are amazing- if you haven’t witnessed them then I definitely recommend!

We went for a more moodier vibe within their home by relying on the beautiful natural light that was pouring in through their large windows. The furniture they use in their daily life was used to document their authentic life.

 

The eldest two children were very excited to have their youngest sibling. They were both itching to hold, love, and kiss on him. You could just feel them bursting with pride and joy and they took their roles very seriously!

It is so important when documenting newborns that the details are not lost in the snuggles. Hands, toes, small kisses and the littlest of smirks all tell the story of who they are in the newborn stage.
