Oakland Maternity Photography Session

The Selvey Family

Maternity Sessions are a wonderful time to kick back and connect to yourself and a partner before the arrival of your little one. I was ecstactic to meet and work with the Selvey Family in Oakland, CA before the birth of their first child. Our session was both indoor and out at their home. We documented in locations they loved to frequent- their living room with their comfy couch and large, beautiful windows as well as their gorgeous outdoor space.

We decided to have our session at a time where the sun was just slightly peeking over their roof to beautifully illuminate their yard and themselves. During the session they chatted about what they were most hopeful about- their dreams and goals for their child as well as what they loved about one another.
