Oakland CA Maternity Photography- Hives Family

Meet the Hives Family, a soon to be family of 3. We met in Oakland at Knowland Park and took advantage of a beautiful sunset for their Maternity Session before the birth of their first child. We took advantage of the warm weather and beautiful view to capture their family’s transition.

We met in the evening, about an hour before the sunset to capture their maternity photographs. We used the hillside and the backdrop of the Bay. The drama of the clouds allowed us to play with the light and frame them in golden sunlight and pillow-y clouds.

After we strolled through the hills, they cuddled on a blanket and shared their excitement for their upcoming child. Maternity Photography Sessions are unique in that they capture such joy & excitement of the unknown that is soon to come.
