The Harris Family of 3, soon to be 4, met me at the beach for their San Francisco Beach Maternity Photography Session. Mom & Dad, Ellie & Ernest, and their three year old Eva are self proclaimed beach bums and often spend their Sundays drinking coffee, soaking in the sun, and collecting seashells that are piling up on their doorstep.
The beaches in San Francisco allow for multiple spaces, perspectives, and backgrounds for us to choose from. This particular one was a favorite of Eva’s. She loved collecting the seashells, discovering shells in the tide pools, and cuddling her parents in-between it all. Knowing the beach allowed them to make new memories as they strolled along and dipped their toes into the sand. The best part of this session was just how much fun it was. At one point I went for a little swim myself!
Maternity Sessions can take place anytime within the pregnancy but usually happen between 28-32 weeks. Family sessions such as these are so fun, especially when it happens in a meaningful location.
This last image is where I took a little swim! A little sand in my leggings was well worth it. Thank you to the Harris’ for having me over to document them!
